ROME EXPECTS 5 MILLION MORE JUBILEE PILGRIMS
VATICAN, Sept. 7 (CWNews.com)
Roman officials are expecting 5 million
pilgrims to visit Rome between September and November.
With young people now back in school, officials coordinating plans for the
Jubilee expect that most of the pilgrims during the next three-month period
will be over 65 years of age. They will be from other parts of Italy, Western
Europe, and Asia, the Vatican believes. Jubilee officials have already
received noticed that several large groups from Asia will be headed for
Rome in coming weeks.
