A Visionary Saint has left us a legacy to learn and live our Faith

His legacy he left through his order the Salesians and the educational standards he established throughout Italy and America today stand as a tribute to this great saint who is the patron saint of students, editors, journalists and laborers. Little children, do not permit satan to pull you apart and to do with you what he wants. I call you to be responsible and determined and to consecrate each day to God in prayer. May Holy Mass, little children, not be a habit for you, but life. By living Holy Mass each day, you will feel the need for holiness and you will grow in holiness. A Publicized Death strikes Culture of Death Abortuary via terrorist's bomb
Violence reared its ugly head yesterday with the bombing of an abortuary in Birmingham, Alabama - Mother Angelica's own backyard so-to-speak. While both pro-aborts and pro-lifers decry this terrible trajedy that killed a security guard, most miss the point that death has been the mainstay of this abortuary for years. Now, a person with a name and a life is felled by this senseless act and the media over-reacts. Let all realize, as we pray for the departed souls of all as well as mercy for the culprit who committed this vile deed, that no murder is justified - whether it be an adult security guard or an innocent unborn child. Misery loves company as Kung lashes out at bishops and Pope
Already silenced by the Vatican, dissident theologian Hans Kung fired a salvo of bitter barbs at the German bishops yesterday for their obedience to the Holy Father's directive to cease and desist from counseling mothers who sought state-sanctioned abortions. Kung, a former priest who's liberal agenda flies in the face of obedience to the Holy See is trying to stir up the German populace and the bishops against the Pope. Muslim leader pledges support for the Pope's policies
Catholics in Germany and Austria, not to mention America are bickering with the Pope, but in Egypt the Grand Iman of Cairo is backing the peace policies of Pope John Paul II and urging more nations to follow the pontiff's recipe for peace and coexistence. The Egyptian Muslim leader decried the recent terrorism in Algeria and Egypt and echoed the Holy Father's call for greater cooperation and communication between Catholics and Muslims.
