The Perfect Storm: Anchored to the Skipper of souls, no matter how hard it blows, we have no fears with Jesus on our side. That is the "Perfect Storm!"    In her column this week, Sister Mary Lucy Astuto forecasts what is truly "The Perfect Storm." The weather patterns have changed greatly throughout the world over the past several years and the drought in the midwest seems to be breaking with torrential rains. Sister reminds us that just as Jesus quieted the storm at sea for His Apostles, so He can and will quell the storms that rock our lives whether physical or spiritual. He didn't die on the cross to let us get washed away on the tide of eternal damnation. No, He died so He could be for us that Anchor of Hope to keep us from dashing our finite hulls against the dangerous reefs of life. Therefore, He provides the "perfect storm" for we will never perish if we totally depend on him as the Skipper of our souls.
