The Latin rite had to be eliminated in order that a diverse liturgy could be created to reaffirm people in theological relativism
"As is the case with the social revolutionaries, the revolutionaries within the Church sought to wipe out the memory of the past. Everything that was old, including the liturgy, had to be eradicated. A new structure had to be created synthetically as a means of giving expression to a new faith for a new age."
In today's issue Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D. continues his enlightening, if not jolting series on what has happened to the stability that was equated with Holy Mother Church for centuries. Because of its importance and this time of the year when we willingly walk with Christ on the way to Calvary, we bring his treatise Stability of Worship Results in Endurance in Faith to you daily through next Wednesday. What Dr. Droleskey speaks is fact, backed up by Catholic doctrine. Read it carefully and call on the Holy Spirit to guide you in realizing how far we have strayed from true Roman Catholic teaching. When we are broken, only God can put the pieces back together!
After introducing this special series on the weekend of the special Jubilee of Families held October 13-14 in Rome, we resume after a one-week hiatus with the twenty-second lesson and the fourth part of a section called We are Family! in which Cyndi shares how no matter how much the world chews a family up and spits them out, Our Lord and His Blessed Mother are there to help us, always there to build us up. The only way They can't is if we refuse Their help. God is constantly knocking. It is we who refuse to answer. Couples cannot go it alone, they need Heavenly help...especially today in a world so full of confusion and controversy. For The Glue of God's Love, the twenty-second lesson of this series by Michael and Cyndi Cain, see AT ONE WITH GOD series on Conjugal Love
Cardinal Bernard Law: We implore you to call Massachusetts Congressman Marty Meehan to task for his unyielding pro-abortion stance as well as all those Democratic congressmen and senators under your jurisdiction.

Today's "Herod's Hero" is the Democratic Congressman from Massachusetts' 5th District, the Honorable Marty Meehan. There's nothing honorable about how he, as a 'Catholic,' has promoted the culture of death. We call on him to repent and for his shepherd in Boston Cardinal Bernard Law along with his colleague in the Conclave Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Meehan's shepherd in Washington, D.C., to issue the ultimatum of the "Bell, Book, and Candle" if he will not hear even the Church. We beg of the Bishops, to stand up for the Roman Catholic Church, to exact the discipline all Catholics are expected to follow. By Meehan's 100% pro-abortion record during his one term in the House, he has turned away from God by showing a disdain for Catholic doctrine and being a willing accomplice to satan. We implore him to amend his ways, to turn away from embracing the pro-abort stance with no mercy for the lives of millions of unborn. For another betrayer who seeks to perpetuate the culture of death and slay the innocents, see HEROD'S HEROES

  SIXTH STATION OF THE CROSS
On Good Friday in 2000, the Holy Father led the Via Crucis meditations with his own words while leading the faithful on the traditional Papal Way of the Cross. His deep spirituality, renewed by a spontaneous visit to Mount Calvary within the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre during his "Jubilee Journey" to the Holy Land last year is an inspiration we want to share with our readers. Therefore, now in Passiontide, we continue daily one Station of the Cross at a time leading up to Holy Saturday. It is important to drink in the meditative treasures of each one day at a time. The eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth will be featured in our Good Friday issue with none on Palm Sunday. For the Sixth Station by His Holiness, see Papal Way of the Cross
Birth of the Patron of Foreign Missions
On this date 495 years ago in 1506 Saint Francis Xavier was born in Navarra, Spain to a noble Basque family. Together with Saint Ignatius Loyola, he took his religious profession in 1534 and shortly thereafter co-founded the Jesuit Order. Oh, these holy priests must be weeping today to see how low their beloved Society of Jesus Company have sunk among so many of the priests. Though there are a few excellent ones, the vast majority have given way to liberation theology and modernism.

Haters are the first of five classes who are gullible to satan's bait.
"Haters. Bigots use their heads, though wrongly; haters use their spleens, though overmuch."

Holy Father calls for all to be concerned for the 400 million world-wide who are affected with mental or neurological disorders
The Holy Father, at the end of his General Audience Wednesday, paid particular attention to the mentally ill with this Saturday being World Health Day 2001. "No one must remain indifferent in face of these brothers of ours," the Holy Father said in referring to these greatly misunderstood souls. "The Church looks upon those who suffer from this sickness with respect and affection, and exhorts the whole human community to accept them, giving special attention to the poorest and most abandoned." There is some decency left in the media, at least Adelphia Communications Corporation owner John Rigas is showing some by banning any and all sexual explicit programming and channels from his cable network. ACLU is furious and threatening to take Rigas to court. Rigas' response: "Let 'em!" For more, see USA News

More indications the world's gone mad:
Priest for Life's Father West evicted from St. Patrick's school as pro-abort 'Catholics' toast pro-abort Jim McGreevey inside in a blatant in-your-face political display on church property!
First Catholics are thrown out of church for the benefit of Hillary Clinton; now on March 18th Father Peter West, a dedicated and enthusiastic Priests for Life representative was kicked out of a Catholic school in Newark because he was Pro-Life. Not only that, but he was heckled and baited by pro-abort 'Catholics' no less who were there to openly support an avowed pro-abort 'Catholic' candidate for governor of New Jersey Jim McGreevey who last time out lost to another pro-abort 'Catholic' Christie Todd Whitman. Why they were allowed to conduct a political event in a Catholic school and overtly promote murder in the womb is something that needs to be addressed by the pastor and the diocese. Heads should roll over that debacle.

Oh, Canada!!!
Socialistic Labor Board tells bishop he can't close a Catholic school or determine what is taught in the Catholic schools. Prince George's Bishop Wiesner digs in to resist secular, immoral curriculum foisted on diocese.
Following up our story on Canada yesterday, today we've got another doozer for you. Bishop Gerald Wiesner, OMI, bishop of the Diocese of Prince George in British Columbia is not going to let the school board or the unions tell him what to teach. Despite the decision against the bishop, he's not going to take it lying down and it's likely it could go all the way to the Supreme Court in Canada so the bishop can assure that homosexuality and other liberal, basically anti-Catholic programs cannot be mandated in Catholic schools.
