  FINAL DAY
Cardinals' Consistory Concludes
More questions than answers resulted in the largest Consistory of red-hats in Church History. The code words of "new," "collegiality," "dialogue," and "ecumenism" seemed to overshadow the call to personal holiness and a reliance on the solid traditions passed down over 20 centuries as the Pope will attempt to decipher the merits of this unusual synod in Rome, trying to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Despite the pleas from the Right to keep the focus on Christ for the answers and the Church as His Bride as well as striving for personal holiness, (which was written into the final summary), the Left managed to push ecumenism and collegiality in an effort to weaken the Papal Primacy. Such progressivists as Belgium's Cardinal Godfried Danneels and LA's Cardinal Roger Mahony sought to push the envelope, indicating clearly they don't have a clue as to their true charism as Apostolic successors. Danneels called for more debate with synods having more freedom. He went so far as to pattern his suggestions on what he is currently doing in Belgium, regardless of the fact that this method has led to a fast diminishing faith in a country that once was so fervent for the Church. It's called deconstruction of the Church. Flee from it. When democracy-intended Mahony - who has had the same decline in his vast See in Southern California - was asked about future Papabile by a reporter, he gushed, "There are so many great voices saying so many great things" that, "How are we ever going to narrow down the field?" Sadly, it sounds as if he has forgotten the selection process begins and ends with the Holy Spirit - the Sanctifier. Prior to Vatican II the Church - Pope and Bishops spoke with One voice. Now there are many fragmented voices with many chaotic, humanistic opinions leading to the deconstruction of the Faith through the diversity of opinion - read progressive, modernism, celebrating diversity! With diverse opinions there are many diverse spirits rather than One Spirit Who is the Spirit of Truth. This direction they are taking is definitely contrary to the teachings of the True Church. Sadly, too, is the fact that perhaps we now have quantity within the modern Princes of the Church, and an all-time record of cardinal-electors, but, from what was exhibited during the Consistory: little quality!

A History Lesson for the ages for all ages!
If we allow the revisionists to change the Church's hallowed history we are destined to repeat many of the great errors we could have learned from were the truth allowed to continue untampered!
In our commentary today, we give a condensed history lesson that many may not recognize considering what they have been taught today about the Church and her glorious past. It is this heritage that is in danger because the revision-minded modernists today seek to blot out the good and spin it to their advantage and agenda. It's a history lesson we all need to study and pass on to those generations who will follow. If we don't, who will? For part four of How close are we? see Pray that our proud heritage will not become history! in CATHOLIC PewPOINT
We can do nothing, we are nothing without God! When will those who seek to lead realize that? Are you listening Tommy Thompson?
"Tommy Thompson is a man who does not know very much about the life issues. He is advised by secular medical experts and scientists who do not view the critical issues of life and death through the prism of the true Faith. Our Lord really did mean it when He said, “You can do nothing without Me.” Nothing means nothing. There is not one aspect of our own individual life or of our social life that is meant to be untouched by the standard of the Holy Cross. All of our decisions are meant to be made in the context of serving the Triune God faithfully through His true Church, something that Thompson, who is a Catholic, obviously considers to be an extremist position taken by religious fanatics desirous of violating the Americanist and Masonic concept of the alleged separation between Church and state."
In today's issue Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D. addresses the myth that has permeated so many from political chambers, homes, chanceries and pro-life agencies that just because someone says he or she is pro-life doesn't necessarily mean they really are. The proof is in the pudding! Dr. Tom shows that spin can dizzy the mind into thinking something is, when in fact it isn't; someone is pro-life, when in fact by their actions and thinking they aren't. Such is the case with secretary of health Tommy Thompson, a Catholic who would not seem to be living his Catholic principles. For an explanation, see Dr. Droleskey's column, Flattery Has Gotten the Babies Nowhere see CHRIST or chaos
We call on these pro-abort politicians' bishops to call them to task for their scandalous pro-abort stance.
For this Memorial weekend's issue we present four "Herod's Hero" in order to cover the remaining 8 pro-abort politicians who claim to be Catholic. For the special page which reveals the 65th through 68th Herod's Heroes and pleas for them to come to their senses as we also identify their respective bishops responsible for their conduct. We beg of the Bishops, to stand up for the Roman Catholic Church, to exact the discipline all Catholics are expected to follow. For four more betrayers who seek to perpetuate the culture of death and slay the innocents, see HEROD'S HEROES
OPEN LETTER TO HIS HOLINESS
An Urgent Plea to Pope John Paul II, 264th Successor of Peter: Please do not change the Papacy as the modernists would want, but leave it intact as Christ instructed in Matthew 16: 17-19.
With the Extraordinary Consistory of Cardinals now completed and the evident intent of many to weaken the Papacy, we present the fifth part of an Urgent Plea to His Holiness Pope John Paul II not to succumb to the pressure of the progressivists and not to change the Papacy no matter how much pressure is put on him. We urge you to read this with a discerning heart and, during this Memorial Weekend when we honor our fallen comrades, remember those in the Mystical Body of Christ who went before us, the sacrifices they made for Holy Mother Church and what they fought and died for. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you in reading this respectful, but honest plea, and guide the Princes of the Church as they return to their respective sees, and guide the Keeper of the Keys to keep intact the Primacy of Peter. This is published with permission. It was compiled by (right to left above:) Atila Sinke Guimarães, Dr. Marian Horvat, Michael J. Matt, and John Vennari. Guimarães, a Brazilian scholar, has been researching this subject matter for twenty years and knows whereof he speaks. The authors back everything up with undeniable truths in their documentation. For part five of this Open Letter to His Holiness, see PLEASE PRESERVE THE PRIMACY OF PETER

Faith and Reason released three years ago
On Friday May 25th marks the third anniversary of the release of Pope John Paul II's thirteenth encylical Fides et Ratio - "Faith and Reason" in which he clearly shows how the two complement each other but science cannot exist without a belief in God and compliance with His natural laws. Pride and Prejudice!
"We can set ourselves above others, and feel superior to them in either of two ways: by our knowledge, or by our power; by flaunting what we know, or by using money and influence to make ourselves supreme. Such forms of behavior always spring from pride."
Monthly Medjugorje Message for May 2001
"Dear children! At this time of grace, I call you to prayer. Little children, you work much but without God’s blessing. Bless and seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lead you at this time so that you may comprehend and live in the grace of this time. Convert, little children, and kneel in the silence of your hearts. Put God in the center of your being so that, in that way, you can witness in joy the beauty that God continually gives in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call."
