"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fifth Sunday After Easter, he reminds us of the meaning of Rogation Days - the three days preceding the Glorious Ascension of Our Lord. Though abandoned by the Vatican II church, the Rogation Days has long been a custom of the Authentic Roman Catholic Church and they were instituted for a special reason - to plead with the Father for mercy, to avert the deserved punishments of our sins. The Rogation Days are a time of fasting and penance to show the Almighty we are sincere and doing our part. Sadly, God is not the main focus today; man is and his needs are being addressed above God's and that is not good as Father explains in his sermon.

Ascension Thursday
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the glorious Feast of the Ascension of the Lord, he points out Our Lord's final command to His Apostles and disciples - to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Her he did not mean "pro multis" - for many, but for all to receive the word of God. He also made it very clear that those who believed what was preached to them and followed through that belief with the Sacrament of Baptism, would be saved. Those who rejected Christ's teaching, who rejected the saving grace of Baptism would be condemned. He didn't say, it's okay to differ because even in your half-truths and garbled logic there is truth and therefore all I've said has no relevance for you; no, He said "condemned." Pretty harsh words coming from the Son of God. Do you think He meant it? According to the Vatican II church, no; according to Authentic Roman Catholic teaching, no doubt! Appreciating the Precious Gift of our Faith
We continue with our catechesis series from My Catholic Faith, focusing on the Evangelical Counsels of Chastity, Poverty and Obedience. Had more priests and religious, including bishops and even cardinals, adhered religiously to these guiding points of grace, the Church would be strong today. The abuses of Vatican II would never have seen the light of day, for indeed Obedience would have signaled to them that to go against the Truths and Traditions handed down was truly disobedience, which would and did open the ugly jaws of violating both Chastity and Poverty. After poring over it twice, Cain shares his observations on how square pegs cannot fit round holes though John Paul II tried his darndest through 62 paragraphs, but trying to apply the Decrees of Trent to the norms of Vatican II only gives us more of "all that jazz" that has so muddled the Faith over the past 40 years as we see in his commentary in two parts with ACT ONE and ACT TWO of Razzle-dazzle 'em!.
Echoes of True Catholicism
The traditional custom of women humbly covering their heads whenever in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament has been abandoned except at Easter when pride covers their heads with whatever 'Easter bonnet' is in vogue. Sadly their headwear is not meant out of respect for Our Lord, but for their own vanity.
