Trinity Sunday serves as the bridge between Paschaltide and the Time after Pentecost as we enter a week that is truly worth celebrating with three special feasts. We've just spent the past week focusing on the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity the Holy Ghost. This week we honor all Three, beginning with Trinity Sunday, the only day actually that the Church officially honors God the Father. It is on Trinity Sunday when we renew our commitment to our Faith and the dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus - "Outside the Church There is No Salvation" (something the potentates of the CONciLIAR church have no intention of following by their words and actions over the past fifty plus years). We provide the full Athanasian Creed for every loyal Catholic to recite and to remember throughout the liturgical year and every second of their lives.
While the week begins after Trinity Sunday with two Feria days and then the feast of Pope St. Gregory VII we acknowledge the traditional historic feast of Mary, Help of Christians on Tuesday.
Then on Thursday we complete the Novena for Corpus Christi as we celebrate the First Class Feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, where, in many traditional parishes, there is procession of the Blessed Sacrament. That used to be the tradition in every parish, but a certain council ended that as we all know. No sooner do we finish one Novena then we begin another because the launch point for the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the Feast of Corpus Christi when holy Mother Church encourages us to begin the Novena that leads up to and includes the First Class Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 3 this year. We again encourage all those who have not had their home enthroned to the Sacred Heart to seek out a traditional priest to enthrone your home and protect your family and to pray the Novena to the Sacred Heart. We end the week with the feasts of the holy Doctor of the Church St. Bede the Venerable on Friday and St. Augustine of Canterbury on Saturday.
We continue each day in May to offer a salutary ejaculation of Mary's distinctive titles from the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary as we also offer a different daily flower that corresponds to a respective virtue in amassing a beautiful spiritual floral bouquet to be presented to Our Lady on her feast of the Queenship of Mary on May 31. In addition, this week covers Days Twenty-Five through Thirty-One in the 33-Day Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary that will be made on the feast of Our Lady's Coronation. We also remind you to take advantage of the beautiful daily prayer of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary during this month that will culminate with the Total Consecration on Tuesday, May 31.
Also, we encourage you to continue with the Nine-Day Novena for the feast of Our Lady Help of Christians on Tuesday this week.
Our Lady, as Co-Redemptrix, has promised that her Immaculate Heart would triumph. That could be God's way of inserting divine intervention to offset this Great Apostasy we remain in. Her holy Rosary is the link of hope between Traditional Catholics and CONciLIAR Catholics, and we remind you of your opportunity to pray each evening with others by calling into moderator Tom Gillbrough for Rosary Conference Call at 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 9 p.m. Central, 8 p.m. Mountain, and 7 p.m. in the Pacific Daylight time zone. You are encouraged to call in ten minutes before the hour so that the Rosary can start on time with no latecomers to upset the reverence and continuity of the Blessed Virgin Mary's holy Psalter. For those who want to stay on after the five decades, they may join in praying the other two sets of mysteries not covered for that day. Monday and Thursday are the Joyful mysteries, Tuesday and Friday are the Sorrowful mysteries, and Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday are the Glorious mysteries. Traditional Catholics never acknowledge the heretical luminous mysteries. Why? Because Heaven bestowed the holy Rosary to St. Dominic to fight the heresy of Albigensianism in 1214. Mary stipulated that the three sets of mysteries made up Christ's life through her and they represented the 150 Psalms which, when divided by the Trinitarian number 3 equals 50 Aves. Victorious over the Albgensians, it remained the same with miraculous results for nearly 800 years until unsaint JP2 decided he'd add the Masonic luminous mysteries. With that unprecedented move in which man thought he knew better than God, the number jumped to four sets of mysteries equalling 200 Aves. To show how demonic this is, when you divide 200 by the Trinitarian number 3 you get 666! That should tell you all you need to know about Vatican 2 and it's false 'popes'. That is why it is paramount to the welfare of your eternal soul to...
A lot has been said about the heretical 'Apostolic' declaration Amoris Laetitia, but the best summary is provided at TRADCAST from Novus Ordo Watch. We strongly urge you to forego some TV tonight and devote a few hours to listen to the facts that leave no doubt. Hearing this and knowing Marxist Mr. Jorge Bergoglio's track record we shouldn't be surprised that the world is thrilled, while many Catholics are shocked. Traditional Catholics are not shocked because we saw it coming. For all of this the best source for what is happening in separating the lambs on the right from the goats on the left is Novus Ordo Watch which provides links to several sources on reactions to "Joy of Love." The same site has also released a thorough audio on unFrancis' folly on TRADCAST In addition, we also confidently recommend trusted ports like Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as four blogs worth your while, Introibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Cekada's Quidlibet, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. They all weigh in on the consequences of the dastardly document Amoris laetitia in which the so-called "Joy of love" can very well turn into Morte animarum - "Death of souls" because of the blatant contradiction of Catholic truth so reminiscent of Vatican 2 documents. So stay tuned to our DailyCatholic Twitter Feed for the latest as well as the editor's SANCTUS facebook page
How many lambs will be placed on the Lord's right? With the relaxation and total negligence of many Catholic disciplines today, that number might be smaller than you might think because
the vast majority of the sheep are so lost because the so-called shepherds of the modern church, while masquerading as priests and prelates, are truly wolves who have ravaged souls for the past fifty years or so. Other than traditional priests and bishops ordained in the true Sacrament of Holy Orders, all those "ordained" or "consecrated" since 1968 with the man-made rite of Giovanni Montini have no more authority or power than a protestant minister, who, as Pope Leo XIII perfectly put it, "are completely null and utterly void." The fact is not since His Holiness Pope Pius XII have we had a true shepherd sitting in the Chair of Peter. That has greatly contributed to the chaos the world faces today because since the early part of the Conclave of 1958, when the Holy Ghost withdrew His protection because a false church was determined to eclipse the true Church. How long that will last is anybody's guess, but the more we see, the further away the counterfeit CONciLIAR church is out-protestanting the Protestants, and even the heathens! You see, through the Vatican 2 secular humanism man has replaced God!
I know it's a shock to most to realize they're barking up the wrong tree, the one without the true barque of Peter. It was to us when we connected all the dots and finally came to the conclusion that the only syllogism possible to verify Christ's words was that the true Church remains in an interminable interregnum, chiefly because a heretic cannot be a pope, not to mention how those men occupying the Chair since the death of His Holiness of happy memory Pope Pius XII's death on October 9, 1958. The links we provide above to other ports verifies this fact.
All we ask is that you pray for the grace to see the veracity of what is presented. It can be a tremendous task to leave the comfort zone of a religion that has relaxed so much, but isn't it worth it for your salvation? That was the decision we came to after realizing how much we were duped - yes, we're not alone - for as Jesus said in St. Matthew 24: 24-25: "insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Behold I have told it to you, beforehand." We've been warned, and yet so many refuse to connect the dots. It behooves you to do so and do so soon.
<
To affirm this and assist you in this truth, we present a thorough talk by His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn, Rector of Most Holy Trinity Seminary, first published last week on Novus Ordo Watch. We encourage you to set aside an hour and a half to truly help your soul and clarify what is really happening by listening to his magnificent and eye-opening complete overview of the Great Apostasy in: The Novus Ordo Church, Vatican II, and Sedevacantism. It's a good idea to listen to the Questions and Answers after his talk that provides rock-solid reasons why Sedevacantists have been right all along and we pray more will receive the grace to see why and flee the Novus Ordo.
Finally, it has to be said. As much as we hate to beg, we have no choice. We remind you of the advice of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Augustine on almsgiving: "Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need.?"
If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. We urgently ask if you can contribute anything in these tight times, we would be so appreciative for the coffers are truly bare. Think of all the untold millions being thrown into the election process this year. If you've contributed to a campaign, can't you spare a crumb for this apostolate to convert apostates? If you are still in the category of the lukewarm, then you will pass over this plea and move on to the next thing that tickles your fancy. But if you truly want to commit, we offer you the opportunity below to put that commitment into action for the good of saving souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward a bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the CONciLIAR collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?

Today begins the Third Cycle of the Easter Season - the Time After Pentecost, beginning with the Feast of the Blessed Trinity and is the longest of the Liturgical Year. It may comprise from twenty-four to twenty-eight weeks and differs considerably from the other liturgical seasons. In the Liturgical Year there is a historical progression, beginning in Advent with the waiting for the coming of the Messias, followed by His birth at Christmas. During the Sundays after Epiphany, the Holy Childhood is commemorated, while during Lent we are reminded of the fasting in the desert and the Passion of Our Lord. The sacred cycle is completed in the Eastertide, when we celebrate the Resurrection and Ascension of Our Lord and the Descent of the Holy Ghost upon the Apostles. In this last part of the ecclesiastical year, the Church, guided by the Holy Ghost, continues the work of the Redemption, realized during the preceding part of the Liturgical Year.
"The Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring all things to your mind whatsoever I shall have said to you." This last season of the Liturgical Year is filled with feasts of major importance: those of the Blessed Trinity, Corpus Christi, the Sacred Heart, the Assumption and Nativity of Our Lady, All Saints and All Souls.
The Station for Trinity Sunday is at St. Peter's Basilica. As soon as we have celebrated the Advent of the Holy Ghost, we celebrate in song the Feast of the Holy Trinity in the office of the following Sunday. The place is well chosen, for, immediately after the descent of this Divine Spirit, began the preaching and belief, and, through Baptism, faith and confession in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. (St. Rupert). The fundamental dogma to which everything in Christianity is related is that of the Holy Trinity, of Whom are all things (Epistle) and to Whom are to return all those who are baptized in Its name (Gospel). Therefore after having reminded us in turn during the Cycle of God the Father, Author of the Creation, of God the Son, Author of the Redemption, and

May 22 is the traditional feast of St. Rita of Cascia, born near Cascia, Italy in 1381. Like Mother St. Elizabeth Seton, she married, had children and then, when widowed, took vows as an Augustinian nun. During that time she received the stigmata of the crown of thorns and offered all up in reparation, the last years of her life bedbound. Just before her death at the age of 76 the thorns turned to roses and her body remains incorrupt to this day, venerated in the shrine at Cascia.

John Gregory provides the commentary for Trinity Sunday from Father George Leo Haydock found in many Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. In the short, but powerfully poignant and pertinent paragraphs from our Lord's mouth in His final assurance of His protection in today's Gospel we have all we need to debunk all Protestant argumentation for Scriptura sola or Fidei sola. Their rationalizations are heresy for the Word alone will not save you, nor will Faith alone, but rather those combined through the Sacraments for only through being in the state of Sanctifying Grace can we hope to achieve Heaven. We arrive at the sacraments through Faith and we learn Faith through the Word. Consider, if you will, a three-legged stool (ideal analogy for Trinity Sunday). If one of those legs are missing the stool cannot stand. To know Jesus is to love Him and obey Him by following all He commands. "Behold I am with you all days"
Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph's Minor Seminary in Rathdrum, Idaho at the City of Mary presents a twelve minute sermon recorded three years ago and made available through Traditional Catholic Sermons for Trinity Sunday in which he reminds us how the Scriptures, both Old and New, reaffirm the great Mystery of the Holy Trinity. Father reminds us of the procession of Persons from God the Father Who proceeds the Son and the Holy Ghost proceeds from the Son, yet All are the same God - the great Mystery, but we attribute Creation to the Father, redemption to the Son, and sanctification to the Holy Ghost as His temples through Baptism. Father shares why we accept this great Mystery through Faith as he explains The Blessed Trinity
The Athanasian Creed, attributed to Saint Athanasius, also know as the Quicumque vult, was formerly recited at the office of Prime on Sundays and Trinity Sunday is the time when we renew our commitment to our Faith and the dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus - "Outside the Church There is No Salvation." The Athanasian Creed is one of the four authoritative Creeds of Holy Mother Church and is not something that is an opinion but what every Roman Catholic must believe. That includes those who subscribe to Vatican II. Oh, wait, their boss has consistently announced that such a dogma no longer exists and all are saved. If that is not blasphemous blatant heresy, then we're in more trouble than we thought. St. Athanasius must be rolling over in his grave as we see Our Lady's words at LaSalette become a reality: "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist." Yes, Francis, you have fulfilled the prophesy. God help us all! Don't believe the CONciLIAR'S words. Believe St. Athanasius and pray the Athanasian Cread
Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today we look to the Blessed Virgin for her guidance as we honor her as Mother of Good Counsel asking her to guide us for her counsel and example is so vitally important if we are to navigate safely to Heaven's shore through the obstacles of the world, the flesh and the devil. What better compass than the true faith and to pray daily her Holy Rosary and contemplate on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

Fr. Casimir Puskorius, CMRI, pastor of Mount St. Michael's in Spokane, Washington speaks of what Christ instructed His Apostles to do: Go out into the world, preach the gospel and baptize every creature. On Trinity Sunday he focused on the Triune Divinity, whose names by the sign of the cross one employs in pouring water over the baptized person's head: "I baptize thee in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen." While the formal Catholic rite of the Baptismal ceremonies includes so much more, in the case of emergency anyone can baptize using that short formula. It is important because it is admitting one as a member of the Mystical Body of Christ whereby the recipient receives Sanctifying Grace and wipes out Original Sin incurred by the disobedience of Adam and Eve. Christ asked us all to be the salt of the earth and preach the good word so that others might be baptized and merit the rewards of Heaven if we stay faithful to God's holy Will and ask Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth to guide us to the Holy Trinity as Father explains in his 20-minute sermon The Trinity is vital for Baptism
Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, we call upon Mary as Comforter of the afflicted for those who lost loved ones or their homes through all kinds of catastrophes that visit mankind throughout man's tijme on this fleeting earth. She is always there to guide us to her divine Son and comfort us as we carry our cross, which we never know what that might be, it is how we willingly carry it that counts. We, with our fallen human nature, are all afflicted and it is a comfort to know she is there for us always. Therefore, let us all pray daily her Holy Rosary and contemplate on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

With this week we officially are in the Time after Pentecost with the Feria on Tuesday that of the Mass of the First Sunday after Pentecost. See the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass Domine, in Tua
Today is the traditional observance of Mary, Help of Christians as you can see to the right.
Help is always available if only we ask. And Mary always has her divine Son's ear. That is the theme of Bishop Daniel Dolan's five-minute sermon for the observance of Mary, Help of Christians

Today is the traditional feast of Mary, Help of Christians. The invocation Auxilium Christianorum (Help of Christians) originated in the sixteenth century and was added to the Litany of Loreto by His Holiness Pope St. Pius V following the victorious Battle of Lepanto. This feast was instituted for May 24 by His Holiness Pope Pius VII. Though not a feast on the universal calendar it is celebrated at various places throughout the world where, for instance Mary, Help of Christians is the patronal feast of Australia and a double of the first class with an octave leading to the Queenship of Mary is celebrated with great splendor. This feast has also attained special celebrity since St. Don Bosco, founder of the Salesian Congregation, dedicated to Our Lady, Help of Christians, the mother church of his congregation at Turin. The Salesian Fathers have carried the devotion to their numerous establishments. Today is Ninth Day of Novena to Our Lady, Help of Christians.

Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, in the aftermath of the devastation in Oklahoma and the shocking (or maybe not so shocking considering who he is) public heresy by the lay faux pope that you don't have to be Catholic, don't even have to be a Christian to be saved we call upon the Blessed Mother to come to the aid of the faithful for she is Mary, Help of Christians, a title we honor her with today on the traditional feast of that wonderful moniker. Look to her for help always and show your commitment by praying daily her Holy Rosary and contemplate on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

St. Gregory VII was one of the most famous of the successors of St. Peter. He was born at the foot of the Capitol, near the deaconry of St. Mary in Portico, which he caused to be restored after he had become Pope, reconsecrating the high altar. In his early youth Hildebrand was professed in the Order of St. Benedict In the little monastery of St. Mary on the Aventine, where the Priory of the Knights of Malta now stands. This most holy monk was elected Pope in 1073, and his conflicts with Henry IV, Emperor of Germany, have made his name immortal throughout the whole Christian world. On May 25, 1085, in the twelfth year of his pontificate, Gregory entered into his rest. He died in exile at Salerno, where his body is buried in the Cathedral. There is also a commemoration of Pope Saint Urban I today. He succeeded St. Calixtus in the year 223. He was Pope for seven years before suffering martyrdom under Emperor Alexander Severus in 230 A.D. See the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

Also, thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you an eleven minute sermon by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of Pope St. Gregory VII even though this year it is superseded by the Fifth Sunday after Easter. He was the holy monk Hildebrand, who chose the name Gregory after Pope St. Gregory the Great and set out to tackle reforms for the clergy in re-establishing celibacy and rid the Church of simony as well as taking on the biggest obstacle of his time - lay investiture in his battles with Emperor Henry IV, a life long antagonist who finally submitted to Gregory at Canossa, but three years later Henry marched into Rome and Gregory was forced to flee to the Benedictine Monastery in Monte Cassino. Though he restored respect and the dignity of the Papacy, he died in exile at Salerno, never receiving the accolades he deserved until after his death. His Excellency fills us in on today's saint Pope St. Gregory VII
Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and Justice is what today's saint Pope St. Gregory VII had an abundance of from the time he was the holy monk Hildebrand. This virtue is so well reflected in what Blessed Mother imparts to her children for she is the Mirror of Justice and realizes that while God is all merciful, He is also all just and those who assume they can skate into Heaven are in for a big surprise. If we want to reflect the graces available to us we need to remain in the state of grace and protect our souls by praying daily her Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

Today there will be processions of the Blessed Sacrament in various traditional communities and on Sunday more parishes will celebrate with each procession led by a true priest reverently holding the sacred Monstrance aloft without touching it with his bare hands. With this Double of the First Class Feast of Corpus Christi we complete the Nine Day Novena. This is a special day set aside for acknowledging the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, i.e., the TRUE PRESENCE, Which is possible only when a true priest confects the bread and wine in a canonized apostolic Mass of All Ages - the Traditional Latin Mass, known throughout the ages as the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and not to be confused with the newfangled man-made Novus Ordo rite which, and those who are not aware please be seated when you read this - CANNOT confect the True Presence in the Blessed Sacrament! Pray that more men, who thought they were actual priests, will realize this and contact a traditional bishop to correct this grave error. There should be a mad exodus of conservative Novus Ordo presbyters with the Public Heresy proclaimed by Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis that all are redeemed, totally nullifying the Dogma that Outside the Church there is no Salvation ( Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus). We'd all best pray harder and now is a good time with this Final Day of the Novena
For the Feast of Corpus Christi we bring you an powerful piece by Timothy Duff in which he provides inspiration and a fail-safe method of being always in the right frame of mind to receive Holy Communion and never to take this Awesome Gift of the Bread of Angels for granted. He gleans several pointers from St. Louis Marie de Montfort's True Devotion as Tim furnishes an excellent checklist to continue the fervor. There is no better time to focus on truly and worthily receiving Christ into our very beings and being conscious of this great and wondrous gift throughout our entire day than during this span of a week when, having just celebrated we celebrate the glorious Coronation of Blessed Mary our Immaculate Queen, the feast of Corpus Christi is fresh in our minds, and we prepare for the great Feast of the Sacred Heart on Ides of June this year. Tim offers his short formula of spiritual success in True Devotion and Holy Communion
The feast of Corpus Christi signals the beginning of the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, concluding next Friday on the Double of the First Class Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. See Day One of the Novena to the Sacred Heart
Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today we focus on the blessed Mystery of how the Mother of God after Adam and Eve's sin, was alone the only person God created without Original Sin as the perfect Tabernacle for the Son of God. Thus we honor Mary as Mother inviolate for just for she is inviolate and incorrupt because the Immaculate Mother of God is the spouse of the Sanctifier. All the more reason to pray daily her Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

While the first step to sainthood (prior to the CONciLIAR insanity of instant "sainthood") is making one venerable, the title of Saint Bede the Venerable means so much more for he was the illustrious ornament of the Anglo-Saxon Church and its very first historian. Considered the Father of English History, he was the first to date events as in the "Year of Our Lord" - Anno Domini (A.D.) and would be appalled today to hear that the Modernist secularists want to make it A.C.E. (After the Common Era)in doing away with any reference to Christ whatsoever, all part of the anti-Catholic agenda to de-Christianize America thoroughly. That is the Masonic creed which Bede would never have stood for. St. Bede was officially named a Doctor of the Church by Pope Leo XIII. Considered a Father of the Church, he was the Benedictines' jewel and is often called The Holy Historian
Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, on this feast of St. Bede the Venerable and Silver Jubilee of two dedicated priests as we prepare for the upcoming feast of Corpus Christi, we honor Mary as most admirable. It is an admirable habit to pray daily her Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

St. Augustine was a Roman monk, and was sent by Pope Saint Gregory the Great with forty companions to England in order to convert that land to the Faith. The result far surpassed the expectations of the Pope, for God set his seal on the preaching of St. Augustine by so great a number of miracles that the age of the apostles seemed to have come again. Ethelbert, the King of Kent, together with the chief persons of his court, was the first to receive Baptism from the hands of the saint, who gave bodily health to the sick as well as salvation to their souls. By command of St. Gregory, Augustine was consecrated the first Bishop of the English by Virgilius of Arles. Returning to England, he consecrated bishops for other Sees and established his own See, as Primate, at Canterbury, where he also built a monastery. He died on May 26, 609, and was at once venerated as a saint. This feast was placed on the Calendar by Pope Leo XIII. For the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass see Sacerdotes Tui

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you an eleven-minute sermon by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the holy Bishop St. Augustine of Canterbury who followed Our Lord's charge to go and preach the gospel to the whole world. Augustine was sent by Pope St. Gregory the Great to England in fulfillment of his promise to Anglo slave children that he would turn them into angels. Sure enough Augustine with forty monks headed for the British Isles even though they were dissuaded by the French bishops. Though Augustine had doubts, he was determined after St. Gregory re-encouraged him. Sure enough, in obedience, Augustine went forward and through the grace of God and divine Providence the king converted and soon after Christianity spread throughout the land thanks to this holy bishop known as the "Apostle of England" as His Excellency relates in his sermon on being obedient with the example of St. Augustine of Canterbury
Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today is the feast of St. Augustine of Canterbury, who was commissioned by St. Gregory the Great, to evangelize the true Faith to England and, as an obedient confessor, he carried through his mission out of holy obedience with great courage. Thus, it is appropriate on his feast that we honor Mary with the title of Queen of Confessors for what sustained these holy men was devotion to her, and since the time of St. Dominic, trusting in the Holy Rosary and contemplating on the magnificent titles she is known by in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Fatima Prayers.

The links above and below provide almost daily updates. The two above can be trusted totally, while we urge a mild caution on the two below because of their refusal to admit Francis is a false pope.

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

Prayer Before the Crucifix
Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."
Plenary Indulgence, Condition:
- Confession
- Communion
- One Our Father
- One Hail Mary
- One Glory be...
Pope Pius IX, July 31, 1858

The Fatima Prayers
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.
O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!
O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

And dwelt among us. Hail Mary...
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
